Il verbo 'go' PDF Print E-mail

Alcuni esempi:

  • I go to work in the mornings.
  • I'm going to Greece on holiday.
  • We went to the beach at the weekend.
  • Did you go to the bank yesterday

But:

  • I went home after work - not - I went to home after work.

Did you know?

'Soccer' or 'football'?
In the UK you can say either 'soccer' or 'football', because they are two different names for the same game.  However, ìn the USA 'soccer' often refers to European style football.  The word 'Football' in US English generally refers to American football.
