Purtroppo tantissimi studenti d'inglese spagliano la preposizione che vada messo dopo il verb 'go' (andare) quando parlano di andare in un certo posto. 

Solitamente la preposizione che dovessi seguire il verbo 'go' e 'to', non la preposizione 'in'.

Alcuni esempi:

• I go to work in the mornings.
• I'm going to Greece on holiday.
• We went to the beach at the weekend.
  
• Did you go to the bank yesterday

But:

• I went home after work - not - I went to home after work.
