2006-09-10 Site News New pronunciation chart added to English for Italians - La pronuncia - section. To be followed by .pdf file download linked to a series of .mp3 sound files so that learners can improve pronunciation and thus comprehension skills. Would like to created an HTML page or a Joomla! section with links to sound files, but cannot find a way of displaying phonetic fonts directly on web pages. Telephone number field added to the contact form. I should have down this at the start. 2007-24-05 Site News A seris of new features have been added to the right hand column including weather information, the time RSS links to Podcasts and a Platial map. On the map you will find information about Milan and other parts of Italy. The information generally relates to posts in my blog, but I will be adding info which may help language learners too.

Purtroppo tantissimi studenti d'inglese spagliano la preposizione che vada messo dopo il verb 'go' (andare) quando parlano di andare in un certo posto. Solitamente la preposizione che dovessi seguire il verbo 'go' e 'to', non la preposizione 'in'. Alcuni esempi: - I go to work in the mornings.
- I'm going to Greece on holiday.
- We went to the beach at the weekend.
- Did you go to the bank yesterday
But: - I went home after work - not - I went to home after work.
